In the Chinese city of Zhuhai, a record-breaking large indoor marine science park, Zhuhai Chimelong, has opened, according to the Themeparx website.
The park building is built in the shape of a spaceship, and more than 100 thousand marine animals live under its roof.
The park area is about 400,000 square meters. m. Visitors can see about 300 species of marine inhabitants, as well as 100 species of living corals. The total volume of all aquariums in the park exceeds 75 million liters, and the volume of the largest of them is 56 million liters.
The park project took ten years to develop, but construction took more than five years and cost $1.1 billion.
The park has set seven Guinness World Records. It has become the largest indoor aquarium in the world, and is home to the largest artificial inhabited coral reef and the largest curved screen.
The park is divided into 15 thematic zones, one of which is the killer whale show.
