Myoma – a benign neoplasm growing in the muscle wall of the uterus. Small fibroids rarely require medical treatment, they do not form metastases. Myoma is formed from muscle fibers and increases due to hormonal influence.

More than 20% of women suffer from myoma. Most often it is found in women aged 30 to 50 years. Less than 1% of all cases of myoma can be malignant.

The conditions for the occurrence of a benign tumor

Why myoma arises, still not defined. It was proved that the tumor can be partially inherited. Also in the Genez Mioma, an important role is played by the sex hormone estradiol.

A benign neoplasm does not occur in girls before puberty. They grow only when in the body the level of estrogen is increased (during pregnancy, taking hormonal agents).

During menopause, the estrogen level decreases, which leads to a decrease in myoma.

Typical symptoms and signs

With myoma, the following symptoms may occur:

Cycle disorders.

Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea).

Iron-deficiency anemia.

Pallor.

Dizziness.

Circulatory problems.

A significant increase in the uterus.

During the formation of benign tumors, frequent urges appear by little need. Refusal of therapy leads to infertility and spontaneous abortion.

Manifestations of myoma during menopause

When the menopausal period approaches, the tumor decreases. However, if contraceptive tablets are used in this period, the tumor begins to increase, since the contraceptives contain hormones.

Sometimes a benign neoplasm may disappear and no longer appear. The general nature of the occurrence of fibroids for menopause has not yet been studied, however, the symptoms of uterine fibroids with menopause are known.

It was previously believed that with menopause, uterine fibroids cannot appear, now women are treating signs of uterine fibroids much more often.

Symptoms of uterine fibroids with menopause:

bleeding;

enlarged lower abdomen;

Pulling pain.

Strong blood loss in the end leads to anemia. Due to bleeding in the blood, the level of red blood cells and hemoglobin is reduced, which leads to oxygen failure in the blood and iron. This condition is characterized by frequent shortness of breath, rapid fatigue, a woman’s head dizzy and a headache appears.

Due to an increase in myoma, it begins to put pressure on neighboring organs, causing violations in their work.

Uterine fibroids for menopause is treated with hormonal pills. The tablets are aimed at reducing benign education. Other drugs remove symptoms.
