Samsung has been working closely with Google for a fairly long period of time. Their cooperation has more than once poured into the release of joint devices (recall the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 10). Now the Korean company has become one of the first companies that can offer users a watch based on the Google Android Wear operating system. Samsung Gear Live were announced on Google I/O together with LG G Watch and Moto 360. And today, buyers have the opportunity to order smart watches from Samsung in Google Play Store.
The watch has a square -like square shape for their class. On the front panel is a 1.63-inch screen with a resolution of 320×320 pixels. It is made using Super-AMOLED technology. As for the processor, Samsung chose not to disclose either the name of the iron manufacturer or its specific model. Only the frequency is known – 1.2 GHz. It can be assumed that the clock has a processor of its own production of Samsung. The clock has 512 megabytes of RAM and 4 gigabytes built -in. From the communication modules there is a Bluetooth version 4.0. Of the additional sensors, in addition to the accelerometer, gyroscope and compass quite familiar to all, it is worth noting the presence of a heart rate measurement sensor. It will come in handy to all lovers of active sports who like to follow their condition during classes. The price of the device will be 229 euros.
At the moment, Gear Live is unequivocal leaders of the smart watch market. However, do not forget about Moto 360, which should appear on sale in the near future, and IWatch, rumors of which do not stop appearing over the past year. After all these devices, it will be interesting to observe the development of the market of smart watches.
