No matter how reliable, no matter how perfect the cars are assembled from elements, nodes, transmissions, engines, electronic devices, etc. D., who wear out, and not in the same time. The more complicated the mechanical, electronic, electronic or any other system, the higher the probability of failure of some part or link. In fact, in many automated systems, the presence of a person is due to the fact that any breakdown can occur or an accident occurs. It is practically unthinkable to provide all options for an emergency, which means that we can say that in technical systems a person is constantly in a state of information uncertainty.
Psychologically, the accident can be considered as an extreme tea incident, which is characterized by a quick change in developing events. Although the accident hangs over the operator constantly, in each case, it is always perceived as a surprise that can capture the operator in any state (increased vigilance or a developed dense state). In addition, having received the “system in danger” signal, the operator does not always know the causes and nature of the emergency situation, perceiving it as an “encrypted” task, which must be urgently deciphered and taken to save the system.
There are automated systems in which the operator can work for many years and never meet with an emergency atmosphere. But even in this case, the state of information uncertainty negatively affects his health. So, at modern automated power plants there are duty, during which the staff does not perform any operations, but is engaged exclusively with supervision and expectation of any emergency violations. But such “light” duty leads people to severe nervous fatigue; At the end of the shift, they are not able to engage in any mental activity, they sleep poorly, they have sharply increased irritability. With prolonged work, neurosis and psychosomatic diseases often occur.
