What is abortion?

Abortion – termination of pregnancy. The attitude to abortion is negative for everyone, but life develops differently and women of all countries resort to this method of termination of unwanted pregnancy. Legislation allows women to do it up to 12 weeks of pregnancy. At a later date, termination of pregnancy is allowed by law only for social and medical indications. In this case, the abortion of undesirable pregnancy is carried out as a small cesarean section or special drugs are administered inside the uterus. Almost always termination of pregnancy, as a rule, adversely affects the state of health of a woman, and most often disrupts the reproductive function. The consequences of the first abortion can be reflected in the course of the next pregnancy period. One of the reasons for female infertility in Russia, according to doctors, is complications after termination of pregnancy. Less harm to the health of women cause medication (up to 8 weeks) and vacuum abortion (up to 5 weeks). Before these procedures, some tests must be done, including tests for hormones. In Russian medical institutions, this type of abortion as removal of the fetal egg with the subsequent cure of the walls of the uterine cavity is now widespread. Although in Russia an abortion is legalized, there are women who decide to terminate pregnancy outside the medical institution. As a rule, such abortions lead to serious consequences.
